but lemme tell of a story of 2 people in my class, well actually only this one person. no names will be mentioned, but for those who know me in lecture, this will be a no-brainer(i shall call her WH here). i wouldn't call her the smartest brain on legs, but there came a point when i realised she wasn't that stupid either. i think she was just scheming.
this girl, approached me one day before our project team line-up was due to ask if i would join their group. since i was only just recently absorbed into my clique's group, i told her i couldn't but i know of a friend who has yet to find a group. this friend was my army buddy. he wasn't the most hardworking either, but i'm pretty sure he would at least do his share of the work. so i told her that, and she agreed to meet my friend to team up. then when i introduced my friend on that same day during lecture, WH and her friend conveniently assimilated themselves into KW's group. oh well. so much for an agreement.
nvm i let that pass. KW later came back to me and told me, "their work has totally no base to jump off". put bluntly, that means their work has totally no substance at all and is total thrash. ok so now i hope we can agree on the fact that WH isn't exactly very smart. but the best part is about to come.
then came the study break. by then WH and her friend have already become my study kakis. there was this day that i wanted to go to the gym so we studied at the lounge, where the gym was located. that morning, WH came first. she asked to borrow my notes after she showed me her law printouts. she told me her friend had her micro notes. thinking it was the other kaki that had the notes, i lent mine to her. after lunch, all of us were present, and yet she asked me again for my notes. this time i asked again, "where are ur notes then?" she still replied the same thing. i gave up at that time. i felt she just wanted to read my notes. after all, i had a hunch that her notes were empty, other than some nonsensical scribblings here and there. after all, all she does in lecture is to sit and stare at the lecturer. she doesn't do the examples, nor does she even bother to read the notes, yet, nothing goes into her head.
oh well. from then on, i decided to leave the study group and go solo. anyway by then pck was already starting to be part of the group. so maybe he can tolerate WH better than me. i cant stand scheming people in my study group. if u wanna study together, and if u know u are the one always depending on others to understand the notes, at least put in the effort. if u have law notes and ur micro notes are with a friend, then study law! don't insist on studying micro. if not ensure ur friend is gonna meet u that day to return u ur notes!
ok now that i've ranted, i'm happy. haha. results are still not out as of this post, well, a 15-question mcq took more than a month to churn out results, so i expect this to be longer. let's see how long this will take and if i can get all HD =)
